Summer is Here

Summer is here !

June 21st 2011 marks the Summer Solstice and the official beginning of Summer.

Sol + stice derived from a combination of Latin words meaning “sun” + “to stand still.”
As the days lengthen, the sun rises higher and higher until it seems to stand still in the sky.

The Summer Solstice results in the longest day and the shortest night of the year. The Northern Hemisphere celebrates in June, but the people on the Southern half of the earth have their longest summer day in December.

Whether you are interested in fun Summer Solstice facts, visiting from a different state or country or a local here in South Florida, we love our Summers and all that it represents.

Bathing suits and barb ques, friends and family fun .

South Florida Homes

South Florida is one of the world’s top travel destinations and places to live.

A typical South Florida Home features various styles of architecture ranging from Spanish to Mediterranean influence with curved S-tile roofs. Many South Florida homes provide beach views, lake views, vaulted ceilings, Roman tubs, stainless steel appliances, ceramic floors, and of course, hurricane shutters.

South Florida features an impressive amount of National parks including Everglades National Park, Biscayne National Park, Dry Tortugas National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve.

A South Florida home is ideally located within a couple miles of fine dining and shopping at various malls and destinations.
