The Pembroke Pines Nature Preserve contains a 450 acre wetland that was established in the 1990’s. The wetlands have become home to 120 species of birds, deer, marsh rabbits, alligators, snakes, turtles, largemouth bass and insects. The park features a 1,650 ft Boardwalk that is regularly visited by Audubon members, bird watchers and environmentalists.
